Helping little Angels spread their wings
The Inaugural Naples Croatian Festival was held on 11/19/16 in a private residence. More than 140 people have attended this charity event and over $6,000 were raised that evening. All of the proceeds will be donated to Little Angels Worldwide (LAW), a nonprofit organization. We invite you to donate through the website. The purpose of LAW is to help finance orphanages in Croatia and Nigeria led by the order of Carmelite nuns. Acting President of the nonprofit organization, Isabella Korunda said: “We decided to organize the event because of our summer volunteering experience at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus House for Children in Zagreb, Croatia.” President Dominik Korunda added: “We have raised more than $10,000 in donations for the Carmelite nuns.” This money will be transferred to the Carmelite nuns in order to improve the living conditions of the children. Furthermore, support will also be given to the Carmelite sisters in Nigeria, who feed and educate local impoverished children.
